A magnificent desert-style championship golf course

Created by nature and designed by golfing legend, Sir Nick Faldo, Katameya Dunes is a masterpiece of golf course design where fairways, greens, and lakes have been sculpted into a pristine natural landscape. Located in Cairo’s thriving, outlying Fifth Settlement District, conveniently close to Cairo International Airport, local hotels, and vibrant commercial and retail areas, this 27-hole "desert oasis" styled golf course is over spectacular duneland on the outskirts of Cairo.

Katameya Dunes has two courses: the Lakes Course (7,435 yards) and the Palms Course (7,315 yards). Both courses have five tee boxes to make them challenging for golfers of all skill levels, from beginners to mid-handicappers and tour pros. Some of the major events held in Katameya Dune's golf course are Nissan Golf Championship, MG Invitational Cup, Mercedes Masters Challenge Cup, and Opel International Pairs. Several upcoming events and tournaments are taking place, including EGF League Event -2, Christmas Scramble, and Opel Club Championship.
