Navigating the Future: Previewing the 8th Egypt International Boat Show 2026
After nearly two decades of maritime innovation and community building, the Egypt International Boat Show (EIBS) returns stronger than ever. Scheduled for February 5–8, 2026, at the Cairo International Conference Centre, the 8th edition of the show promises to be the most ambitious edition yet, bringing together over 80 companies and organisations to showcase 150 local and international brands spanning boats, yachts, jet skis, water sports equipment, engines, and navigation technologies.
The EIBS story is one of vision, perseverance, and strategic timing. Founded in 2007 by two legendary business people, Amr Selim, the media entrepreneur behind two leading publications, Sports & Fitness and He Magazine, and Ahmed Allam, the exhibitions expert behind Art Line for Organizing International Exhibitions and Conferences, the first show tapped into Egypt’s fast-growing maritime industry while highlighting the country’s historic ties to the sea. For five consecutive years, EIBS became a hub for both domestic and international brands, attracting enthusiasts and industry leaders alike.
After a break following the January 25th revolution, the show made a remarkable comeback in early 2024 at Marassi Marina owned by EMMAR on the North Coast, revitalizing Egypt's yachting scene and reinforcing the country’s rising status in the Mediterranean marine industry. The 7th edition, held in Cairo in February 2025, built on this positive momentum, showcasing over 50 companies and 120 brands. All editions of EIBS are hosted with the support of the Ministry of Transport, Ministry of Tourism, Suez Canal Authority, and EgyptAir, confirming a strong governmental commitment to advancing maritime tourism and industry development in Egypt.

The 8th edition represents a new milestone. For the first time, the show will occupy two halls, reflecting both increased demand and the expanding scope of Egypt’s boating market. Exhibitors include international brands, local manufacturers, and service providers in finance, insurance, and luxury outfitting. Prominent sponsors, including Banque du Caire, Abou Ghaly Motors – An Authorized Mercedes-Benz Dealer, Ulter by Valu, Orient Insurance, Cunacci, and Longeblack, further underline the show’s stature. For example, Cunacci will not only furnish the VIP lounges but also create the event's awards, highlighting the perfect combination of functionality and luxury that defines the show.
The 8th edition of EIBS witness a great interest from different leading local and regional media organizations to join as media partners including; Sports & Fitness magazine, Experience Egypt, He Magazine, Enigma, The World of Yachts, Bahry, Lovin Cairo, Megazettes, YachtFinds.com

Celebrity ambassador, actor Tamer Hagras, known for his passion for sea and water sports, has partnered with EIBS to lead a campaign that has already garnered international attention. With his involvement, the show not only highlights Egypt’s boating industry but also celebrates a lifestyle centered on maritime exploration.

In addition to showcasing products, the EIBS acts as a hub of knowledge. Panels talk will explore crucial topics like boosting yachting tourism, scuba diving, water sports, maritime services, and promoting Egyptian products on a global scale. The organizers aim to make the Egyptian boating industry more accessible, highlighting how modern local manufacturing has made yachts and boats increasingly affordable, often even comparable to the price of a car. This development not only broadens the market but also opens up opportunities across society, catering to everyone from recreational sailors to industry professionals.

Government support remains a defining feature of the event. The Deputy Prime Minister of Egypt, Lieutenant General Kamel Al-Wazir, will inaugurate the show alongside key officials, celebrities, and international media, underlining Egypt’s commitment to promoting tourism, industry, and maritime infrastructure.

As the market continues to grow, the show has transformed into a strategic platform for the Egyptian and regional boating industry. Exhibitors are noting an uptick in space requests, reflecting the expanding domestic market and increasing international interest. Participants will have the chance to explore financing options, insurance, and a wide range of products, all conveniently located under one roof, while positioning Egypt within the global marine industry landscape.
The 8th EIBS is not just a showcase; it’s a bold statement. It underscores Egypt’s burgeoning maritime economy, highlights the accessibility of boating to a wider audience, and demonstrates the country's capability to host world-class exhibitions. With an expanding roster of exhibitors, notable support, and insightful leadership panels, this edition firmly establishes the show as the premier destination for boating enthusiasts, investors, and industry professionals throughout the region.

As Egypt’s boating industry continues to thrive, the visionaries behind the Egypt International Boat Show, Amr Selim and Ahmed Allam, share their valuable insights on the market's expansion and accessibility, and the show’s pivotal role in shaping the future of yachting tourism. Amr Selim stated, "Today, purchasing a yacht is becoming accessible to a wider audience and is no longer just a niche market.
